Casi waded almost silently through the swamps of Jordon. His wolfish figure was enveloped in a cloud of thick fog. He was searching for the one and the only Black Dog. "Oh Asador, come out and play! I have a little surprise for you!" He couldn't help but giggle as he planned to fill the dog's head with nonsense. "Oh Black!'

Always another way... The Black Dog
Sensitive ears caught the sound of a long-extinct memory grating roughly against the soft, quiet whispers of the swamp. A black figure stalked quietly through the reeds, grappling with the name; Asador, as he went. Finally it clicked somewhere in the dark corridors of his mind. He growled, recognizing the voice. Casino. He thought, the wind hissing weakly through the reeds. I gave you a chance. He was not in a good ,mood. He stood, lifting a powerful frame above the grasslands, padding toward the sound. The awful scent of the alien came upon him without warning, blasting his senses and halting his advance through the reeds. He organized the scent again as best he could, and tracked it to a small break in the reeds. There the alien stood, as far as Black's twisted imagination could guess. He circled up behind the alien, feeling that he would be on more even ground if neither could see one another for this encounter. He stepped forth from the reeds, hiding his unease as best he could as he spoke; "Yes?"

Casi smiled as he heard the black dog's voice. "I see the doggie has decided to come out and play." He giggled to himself in that metallic voice of his. "I have done things to your swamp, though the changes are barley noticeable at this time. I estimate that in a week or two various plants and animals will begin to die off." His smile became sadistic and toothy. "And then soon after that the water will become highly acidic and then the swamp will no longer be able to support life."

Always another way... The Black Dog
It took a moment or more for Black to grasp what teh alien had just said. His emotions snapped with a bang at the sudden realizion that came to mind. "Bastard." He said, the swamp seething with anger around him. There was nothing but wild hate in him now; all his former vulnerability was nothing but a ghost of his past. The viscous fighter he had made himself out to be all those years ago had risen with a vengeance for the one who had done such an evil to him. Powerful muscles rippled in his hindquarters as he leaped toward the alien, claws and fangs equally outstretched.

Casi spun around to to stare the dog in the eye as the insult was spat from Black's mouth. "My, my, it seems the insanity hasn't fully taken over your old self!" When Black launched himself at Casi, Casi dashed to the side clumsily as he fumbled to retrieve a sryinge from his key. The alien felt a dull pain as Black grazed his pelt slightly as he leaped past him. "Come here my pretty! I only want to stick you!" A mad cackle erupted from the alien's throat. He ran at Black with the sryinge held tightly in his mouth. If he got close enough to the dog's pelt, he would stick Black and extract some blood as quickly as possible.

Always another way... The Black Dog
The black canine sensed the sharp, unidentified object coming and dodged away. The fur on his back rose as confusion took him for a split second, leaving him open and vulnerable to the alien's impending syringe.

Casi cursed silently as Asador dodged the syringe. He spun around and ran at the dog again with his same tactic as before. "I will get you!"

Always another way... The Black Dog
The prick of the said unidentified object jolted Black out of his confusion. He snarled and spun around, snapping at what he hoped was Casino's shoulder. His paws sank into the deep mud under the thick, slimy film of water. He could feel the earth starting to expect the alien's tampering, and willed it to fight it just a bit longer.

A large smile spread on Casi's face as he extracted just enough blood to produce Asador's DNA sequence. He quickly stored the blood sample in his key. The nerve endings in the alien's left shoulder screeched in pain as teeth clamped down upon it. He growled in pain whilst attempting to bite Black's ear.

Black twisted and writhed under Casino's teeth as the alien caught his ear. He held onto the other creature's shoulder, however, despite the pain in his ear. With a snarl he finally let go, ripping free from the other's jaws, leaving a tear in his ear. He retreated a few steps, breathing with surprising activity. He hadn't done this in a long time. It was obvious that he was a little rusty. He chose defense, and braced his legs, lowering his head and lifting his tail. A growl continued to rumble deep in his chest while he waited for the alien's next move.

Casi let out a sigh of relief as Black let go of his shoulder. Blood trickled out of the wound and matted the fur around it together. "This is the first time I have fought you, isn't it?" He laughed, and turned to face Asador. Thousands of attack strategies were buzzing around in his head. Should he go for the throat first or weaken him some more? "I think I'll make this slow." Casi ran at the dog with a slight limp. If he managed to get close enough, he would try and bite Black's shoulder or mid section.

A rush of air assaulted Black's ears as the alien charged him. He bared his teeth and tried to dodge the incoming blow. Fangs slashed into his dark fur, however, propelling him sideways in the mud. He snarled again and attempt to tear away, twisting around in an attempt to re-gain the other's should and catch them both in a gridlock.
