{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}Casi, thigh deep in murky water, trudged around Jordon's swampland. Test tubes hung around his furry neck along with his infamous glowing key. Mist swirled around his body as he moved, making his appearance even more sinister than it already was. He was here for one reason, and one reason only; to take water samples of each area of the swamp. The alien had big ideas for this place, but for his big ideas to works the pH levels had to be between six and nine in all areas of the swamp.
The alien wolf lowered his head down to the water with his neon green ears perked forward and his two antennae dipping low, almost touching the water. The scent glands on both of his odd appendages were flooded with numerous scents but none of them seemed out of place. Casi dipped one of the open test tubes into the water and filled it to the brim, the tube then proceeded to close it's cap by itself. "Only a few more to go..."

Always another way... The Black Dog
Black padded silently along a rare spit of dry ground, plunging into the belly-deep water with an almost inaudible splash. He stalked slowly through the mists. Water vapor clung to his fur in sheets, chilling him to the bone. He was making his usual lap of his territory, checking for anything odd, though there was little that was normal about the swamp. His ears twitched, barely catching the sound of another creature in the water. He lowered down, almost level with the water, and padded forward, his milky blue eyes narrowing as he sent slight ripples of air out around him, barely vibrateing the molecules, searching for the stranger.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS} The alien's continued to lower his head, perk his ears forward, and push his antennae to the waters surface every few yards or so. It was a tedious process, but it had to be done in order for plans to move forward. Casi yawned, he could always come back another day, besides it look as if it was gonna start raining cats and dogs any second. The sky was dark and clouded, and a low rumbled could be heard in the distance.
Casi tried to step softly but every time he did, the water splashed and sloshed around him, making fairly loud noises. He gave up on trying to be quiet, it simply wasn't possible. He trudged on as he wasn't aware of the canine trying to sense his presence.

Always another way... The Black Dog
Black caught the hauntingly familiar shape of antenna and the key draped about the big brute's neck. He froze, his formerly collected thoughts scrambling at the unexpected appearance of Casino. He growled quietly, trying to get a handle on himself as he continued to creep up on the wolf, his fur on end. He didn't know why the alien was here, but he sure as hell didn't want him, whatever he was doing. There was a quiet woosh of air and ripple of water as he leaped toward the large canine, hoping to pin him down in the water.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS} Casi, caught by surprise, collapsed under his attacker's weight and fell into the murky water. But, being as large as he was, his head barely touched the water's surface. He recognized the canine that pinned him down instantly, it was none other than his old 'buddy' Asador. An evil grin spread on his maw. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here." Casi sneered with a sharp growl. This was a surprise, a very pleasant surprise. "My, my you haven't change a bit have you?" He chuckled. "Still have those organs I planted in you I assume?" His chuckled erupted into a hearty laugh. Oh, those were good times. "It's been too long, yes? Or perhaps.." Casi paused, adding suspense. "Not long enough."

Always another way... The Black Dog
Black shivered at the touch of the alien's fur, unpleasant memories flooding his mind. He was off of the brute faster than you could say 'Asador' and presently giving him the death glare instead. "Get out." A growl rose in his throat, quiet and apparently what he considered threating. Any outsider would have laughed at his withering in the face of his old.... acquaintance. As was his nature, he wasn't going to screw around with conversation, he just continued to muster a rather week growl and glare at the alien.

{Oh sh- it CASINOS}As soon as the Black Dog let him up, Casi rolled onto his feet with a loud splash. Water clung to his faux fur like mud. "Not long enough I take it." He continued to grin, his black teeth gleaming lightly. "I'll go, I'll go. Don't get your precious little brain in a scramble." Casi snickered, it was oh so much fun to mess with Asador. He lashed his tail, gave a sinister cackle, and turned in a southward direction. Water splashed around around the alien as he walked off into the mist. He laughed once more, the sound echoing around the swampland and then slowly fading as he walked farther away.

Always another way... The Black Dog
Black growled again as the big brute trotted off into the mist. His skin shivered at the sound of the alien's metallic voice, it's abrasive sort of quality going strait into his bloodstream. He didn't like the way his hormones did back flips as the wolf passed, and quickly vanished into the tangled swamp. He found isolation a more preferable condition of insanity.
What the hell are you two talking about... Kemsin
Kemsin slunk quietly through the swamp, as silent or even more so than her father. He should never have taught me that. She thought, smiling to herself. In fact, there were a lot of skills that, if he'd had more than a scrap of sanity, he wouldn't have taught her. She'd followed him again, too concerned to leave him to his own devices. However, she'd become distracted by another's trail through the swamp; a familiar metallic scent catching her attention and drawing her forward.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}Casi snickered, phase one of his plan was complete, it was now time for phase two. "Who's got a lovely bunch of coconuts standing in a row?!" The alien sang jollily. Everything was going perfectly, in fact, it was going too perfectly. With his lucky, everything would crumble before his eyes sooner or later. Oh well, he thought. Might as well enjoy my accomplishments before they disappear. "Big ones, small ones, ones as big as your head!" Water splashed this way and that as he walked with a spring in his step.

Kemsin was becoming thoroughly disinterested with the big green and black brute. Hiding in the bushes and listening to his horrible singing and getting thoroughly soaked from his clumsy splashing wasn't exactly her idea of fun. Had she expected confrontation; some epic encounter? Pshaw, no. Instead she was standing here soaking wet, cold and sinking slowly the endless ick of the swamp. A huge sigh escaped her maw, releasing some of the seething annoyance within her. Who was this idiot, anyway, and why hadn't her father done his job and chased him off already? Kemsin hated filling in. She stalked slowly forward through the reeds, making her way up next to the stranger, completely invisible in the budding greenery. "BOO!" She howled as she sprang from her hiding place, landing with a large splash that was hopefully payback for her soaked fur.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}"BOO!"
The alien jumped backward as yet another dog ambushed him. The dog's landing made a large splash which sent water cascading down on the alien's body, soaking him from head to paw. A small growl came from deep within his diaphragm. The nerve of some people. Casi shook vigorously and sent most of the water in his fur flying off. He recognized the female in an instant, she was the dog from the forest. The one who had seen him. A nasty grin spread on his face. This was going to be interesting. "The correct term I do believe would be...'Ello poppet."

"'Ello poppet."
"Don't mind me, I'm just the damsel in distress." She said with an arrogant snort. Her posture was tall and proud; the false aura of a leader in her stance to hide her recognition of the brute. Only a spark of curiosity in her eyes breached the facade. She bared her teeth at him. "Why are you hear?" She snapped at him, deciding to get to the point. "If you don't have any business here, mind your manners and clear out." She said with a smirk, discretely examining him out of the corner of her eye.
He was big, maybe smaller than she remembered because of the circumstance of their previous encounter. His green and brown markings were all too similar to hers for her liking. Her quick mind was already drawing up a thousand different conclusions.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}"If you don't have any business here, mind your manners and clear out."
A laughed escaped the alien's throat, like he was going to be pushed around by the mutt in front of him. "And if I don't on both occasions?" A mischievous grin spread itself on the alien's face. Casi turned his back on the female and briskly walked, splashing as he went, to a dry spot of land which was conveniently only three feet to his left. The alien spun around to face the canine. Each of his four paws were planted firmly in the soil, his muscles were tense, and his ears perked forward. Casi wasn't going anywhere soon.

Kemsin's first instinct was to retreat. She'd never fought anyone in her life, that was one thing Black had wisely not taught her. She had a good mind, however, and she knew without question that the wolf before her was probably much more experienced and definately more powerful. She flattened her ears and growled in frustration, taking a step back as she did so. "Alright, you got me." She snapped, annoyed.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS} "Figured as much." Casi snorted, turned his back to the female once more, and headed in a southward direction. Water lapped at his legs as he stepped into the watery swamp. "A word to the wise," He looked over his shoulder and cast the mutt a sadistic look, "Fake it, till you make it." A thick fog enveloped Casi's form as he padded farther away.
