What the hell are you two talking about...? Kemsin
The she-wolf slipped quietly through the mist, unheard and unseen as a ghost. She lifted her nose to the air, checking yet again for that metallic scent she couldn't seem to forget. It was absent, just like the other million and a half times she'd tried.
There was a quiet thrum of paws on wet earth, and suddenly a flicker of dark shadow apeared next to her, startling her. She turned, ready to drop into a defensive crouch at a moments notice, only to find it was just her father, the Black Dog, up to his usual haunting. She rolled her eyes.
"Must you do that?" She said. He shrugged, drawing up next to her to walk shoulder to shoulder. They walked in silence what seemed like hours, Black basking in his perverted air of evil. She rolled her eyes again, annoyed at her father's insanity.
"Well, I met some new people today." He glanced over as she spoke, one ear cocked to attention and his blue gaze staring her down. "Don't worry." She said, "Nobody particularly exciting or dangerous, just interesting." An evil smile started to creep onto her maw, she could see Black's fur stand up out of the corner of her eye. "Someone very interesting..." She said, still grinning. "Big, mostly black with green and brown markings. Oh, and did I mention the antenna?" Her father's gaze suddenly snapped from questioning to withdrawn and secretive. He let out a short growl, a fool's warning, no doubt, and vanished in the mist. Her grin grew wider, her eyes glowing slightly. She was drawing closer to the center of this mystery.
