In more ways than one... Grayback
It was an insufferably boring day. The reborn spring sun was out and about, flinging her heat down on the very brink of Downtown Williamsdale with infinite pleasure. Grayback stood leaning on the concrete wall of a spacious art store, sheltering in the shade of a stout Japanese maple. He had his hat pulled low over his eyes, his usual gray garb discarded for loose jeans and a T-shirt. It was too hot for anything else. He sighed as a hot wind blew across the sidewalk, offering little relief to the heat. He meandured down the street, glancing in windows, little catching his eye. Suddenly, a large poster of a familiar caped figure demanded his attention. He smirked, almost laughing that this of all things should interest him. He stepped back, examining the poster more closely. It showed a picture of Batman, standing with a rather bewildered look on his face and his cape doing back flips. Grayback's eyes wandered aimlessly over the titler, Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader and down to the author, Neil Gaiman. He sighed and wondered into the shop, suddenly finding himself flooded with a wave of comic books. Everywhere he looked, there were costumed superheroes and space ships flying circles around each other. He found the overall tumult of bright color abrasive but fascinating at the same time, and started paging through titles.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}Casinos, now disguised as regular human, walked the Downtown streets of Williamsdale. His fake red hair gleamed like fire in the harsh sunlight as he rounded a street corner and headed in the direction of a comic book store. He was in town for a couple of things, one of them being more cigarets and possibly a few comic books for Spin.
The alien entered the comic book store and headed straight for the villain section. He figured Spin might pick up a few tips from the malicious characters designed for death and destruction. Venom, Mr. Freeze, Dr. Octopus, there were just so many to choose from. Casi sighed, and choose three comic books featuring The Joker, Venom, and Clayface.

In more ways that one... Grayback
Becoming board of science fiction, he wandered deeper into the superheroes and villains. He picked up a few, flipped through them, got bored again and put them back. He didn't really see the point to superheroes, or heroes in general really. Still, he couldn't help but wonder what the other side of the game was like. He grinned to himself, subconsciously wandering over to the super villian section. There was another, tall, red haired man standing on the ailse. He was slightly familiar, but Grayback couldn't quite remember why... "Jim! Fancy meeting you here." He said to the man, grinning.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}The alien nearly jumped out of his skin, startled. He hadn't heard his human alias in months. Cas turned to face the speaker who looked vaguely fimilar. "Oh hey...John if I remember correctly. Sorry, I'm horrible with names." He put the comic books under his arm and his hands in his pockets. The last time he had seen the man in front of him was in California. "So when did you ditch Los Angeles and mosey over to Williamsdale?" Obviously trying to make conversation Casi flashed John a smile.

Grayback shrugged in return. He slipped his hands in his pockets, scanning the more suited titles lining the shelves. He returned the redhead's smile with a slight smirk. "Let's just say I came to see an old friend." He replied coolly, lifting one of the Hush novels from the shelf. He opened it at a random interval, paging slowly through the action filled panels and speech bubbles. He glanced sideways under the brim of his hat at the comics under Jim's arm, a curious flash in his silver eyes. "What are you reading?" He questioned, setting the novel back on the shelf as he spoke, willing enough for conversation.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}Casi gave a slight nod. Hmm and old friend? Interesting. He lifted one of his pale hands out of his pocket and grabbed the three graphic novels from under his arm. "Oh these?" He shrugged. "I don't plan to read them. A friend asked me to pick some up for him." Lies, complete lies. Casi, infact, did plan to read them before he gave them to Spin. "Hold on a moment." The alien walked over to cashier, placed the comic books on the counter, and paid for them. He then walked back over to John. "Hey, I better get going. I have errands to run. It was nice seeing you again, though."

Grayback nodded in agreement, though he didn't really have anywhere to go or anything to do. "Good seeing you too," he said vaguely, making his way to the door in a round about way. "Hey, maybe we could get together and rent some video games or something." He said, grinning.

{Oh sh- it's CASINOS}He followed John to the door. "Yeah, sounds good. Well, I guess I'll see you around then." Casi pushed open the door in one swift movement and gave good bye to the man in the jeans and a t-shirt. He then head to the nearest convenience store to but a few packs of cigarets.
(I will eat my muse if it does not come back D:<)

In more ways than one... Grayback
The man tipped his hat silently to Jim as he exited the store. He flashed a smile of thanks at the cashier as he exited as well, moving up the street the opposite way. He hoped the mutt was gone by the time he got back, he really didn't like being stalked by that...thing. He didn't care what Black said he was, he didn't trust him one bit. He couldn't help but wonder why the mutt had suddenly lost it. Grayback knew he hadn't done nearly as good of a job driving Black crazy, he envied whoever had finally done it.
